Our Auckland team is trying something a little different to work around the heat and for those that might prefer a weekend sleep in. Its an evening walk around Barry Curtis Park, meeting at the carpark which you enter opposite Erica Road. It is the one with the closest access to the playground. As with all GAP walks, all rehomed hounds and their families are welcomed, including honourary hound siblings, future adoptees and anyone that would like to enjoy being around greyhounds. This is an on lead only walk.
Do keep an eye on the weather this weekend as this walk may need to be postponed. Jean, who is our organiser for this walk, will also be happy to do hounds' nails for a gold coin donation at the end of the walk. All proceeds go towards rehoming more hounds.
